About the Role:
Star Learners in Zionsville, IN is looking for a passionate and nurturing Teacher Assistant to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
- Support lead teachers in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
- Supervise and assist students during classroom instruction.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all children
- Observe and document student behavior and developmental progress
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with kids
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to professional growth in early childhood education
